FEATURES

A high quality milk replacer including “ACTONOR”, a polypeptide amino acid mix, with a superior amino acid content to casein; the main protein in skimmed milk. 
ACTONOR has been proven through local research to improve dry feed intakes and live weight gains over a 56 day trial. 
Thompsons HI-FAT calf milk also contains yoghurt to improve gut conditions and milk digestion, a high level of Vitamin E and Selenium to improve immune function as well as added dried colostrum to stimulate natural antibody production in all calves. Designed for traditional bucket rearing systems and the ad-lib or computerised feeding of either dairy or beef calves. The product can also be fed once per day from day 14.

FEEDING GUIDELINES

• All calves should receive adequate quantities of colostrums in the first 3-6 hours of life
• To mix Thompson's HI-FAT-
• Twice daily feeding: 250 g of HI-FAT mixed with 2.25 litres of water (38-42oC) both a.m and p.m

FEEDING SCHEDULE (Twice daily)

• 0-3 days - Feed colostrum
• 4-42 days - Introduce HI-FAT milk replacer with half feeding working gradually to 2.25 litres/feed within 10 days. Introduce Calf Pride Weaner feed at 4-5days.
• 42 days - Weaning can proceed when calves are consuming 1kg of concentrate. Reduce milk over 3-5 days

FEEDING SCHEDULE (Cold Ad-lib sytem)
Mix )at 500g to 4 litres of cold water and stir daily. Do not mix more than two days supply.

• 0-3 days - Feed colostrum
• 4-42 days - Individually feed cold ad-lib HI-FAT from a teat fitted to a bucket. Introduce Calf Pride Weaner feed at 4-5days along with straw.
• 42 days - Weaning can proceed when calves are consuming 1kg of concentrate. Reduce milk over 3-5 days
