The cereal-based ration,
including Wheat and Maize, will promote
high yields of both milk and protein.
By-pass protein sources such as Soya and
Fishmeal are also used to maximise the
synthesis of microbial protein to ensure
milk protein potential is achieved. The
vitamins and mineral pack in the ration
is specific to this product, with an
emphasis on hoof health. The Biotin
vitamin, commercially trialled in the
winter of 1998/99 is included along with
other minerals including boosted zinc
levels to help reduce the incidence of
herd lameness |
