G-Lime, a registered trademark of Kilwaughter Lime, is a unique fast acting lime soil conditioner, specially formulated to help manage soil pH, improving soil fertility while optimising crop and grass performance. Kilwaughter acquired the G-Lime brand and business in July 2012, with product manufacturing remaining at Belcoo, Co. Fermanagh. G-lime is available exclusively through Thompsons who supply local merchants.

The pellet size, strength and reactivity of G-Lime, have all been improved with increased efficiency in the manufacturing process resulting in dust reduction. But one of the main benefits of G-lime still remains, the ease of application. As it can be spread at any time of year using a conventional spreader, it offers the flexibility of time. So when it suits the producer G-lime can be spread, this means it must be available to buy at a time that suits the producer.

With the ability to fulfil demand with supply, Taggart Jack’s merchant trade of Kilwaughter’s G-lime doesn’t stand still. Available in 600kg bags Jack’s have the capability to deliver direct to farm within two days, or there is plenty of stock available if the farmer is able to collect their own G-lime. Collected from Thompsons’ Belfast by Taggart Jack’s branded trucks’ G- lime will always be available in Ardstraw when it is needed.
