Charity Partnership Launched

With a previous total of a staggering £60K, Thompsons are delighted to have re-ignited their partnership with Marie Curie, to continue raising funds for a charity that touches the lives of many. Offering care and support through terminal illness, Marie Curie’s well known ‘Great Daffodil Appeal’, ensures that more funds are available to provide nursing care where and when it is needed.

Thompsons kick-started their new campaign at Balmoral Show earlier this year, donating £1 for every cup of tea or coffee served to their customers who joined them on their stand and the instantly recognisable daffodil pins were also available during the show. During the summer, our very own Samantha Connor held her annual ‘Blooming Great Tea Party’ for Marie Curie. Gathering friends and family for a cuppa ‘n cake, it was a great day, and with the support of Thompsons, £1,570 was raised.
